Happy "Gimme Candy" Day

Alright, luckily for my children they cant get much cuter otherwise I would turn them into something edible. I just want to eat them up. Obviously Luke-a-Duke is a punkin and Sydnie is a witch. Last minute she decided to be a scary witch..but no green makeup. Wow..put a mom on the spot why dontcha??!!

Luke was not totally impressed by the hat. O.K. He hated it. Until he figured out he got candy when he had it on. We trick or treated some local business first and by the 3rd stop he totally got the idea. He wouldn't stop taking candy out of the bowl!! When his bucket got to full for him to carry, we had to empty it but he freaked out when we tried to take it away so we had to empty it while he was holding onto it. Jeez!

Ahhh! Sweet Rewards of a hard night trick or treating!! (we had to tag team him in the kitchen sink after this lolli. Only Luke knows how many licks it took to get to the center).

Now, let talk about how bad candy is for you!! Look at this face!! Do you think this child just ate a candy bar(or ten) or a banana??!! Holy cow. She was literally jumping on the furniture.

Yes...she is making a candy angel. I kid you not!! SUGAR!! SUGAR!! SUGAR!

On a final note, doesn't it bug you when kids ring your doorbell and say "trick or treat", but they don't have on a costume. Well, we decided to give those kids ...waffles. Yup..waffles. However, Luke decided they could be better put to use in other ways. The boy loves his breakfast!

Happy Halloween everyone!! Just remember the devil may think he owns this day..but the glory is all Gods regardless of what day it is. I would totally give the Devil a waffle!!

Sshh..dont tell my Daddy

Howdy, this is Luke typing tonight. I wore Mom out, so she is in bed now. Today was busy!! Mom decided she couldn't let those toilets go any longer. Something about "Luke is always putting his hands in the toilet blah blah blah" I can only pay attention so long. That woman can talk I tell ya. Anyway, today I decided to get in touch with my femininity. I began with a little bit of tea and crumpets. Id never actually set up a tea party before, but I think I did a pretty good job. Tea Rocks my Pampers.(actually Kirkland brand, you could pay more..but why?)

Next I decided to try my hand at playing house. That was pretty cool too. I make an awesome baby!! You would think I had practice at that or something. I loved sitting in the baby's bed. That doll has it made. All this girly stuff was kinda gettin on my macho nerves. So, what is an all American boy supposed to do to regain some of his masculinity??

Play Baseball...NAKED!!!! I feel rejuvenated...and a bit exposed. Oh well. Mom is up and a bit upset by the quart of drool on her keyboard. TTFN!

So there's this boy...

Luke..what can I say about this little boy. He is my world!!! If someone had told me how much I would love him I would have said they were nuts. Now, I'm nuts for him. He is everything a little boy should be. He is rough, rowdy and loves dirt(or rocks, hes not picky). He loves to pull his sisters hair and body slam his Dad. If your laying on the floor, he will pull up your shirt and raspberry on your belly. Too cute!

He is so independent it is scary. Stranger Danger??!! What is that?! He loves people. But, he also loves his Mama. I still rock him to sleep for every nap and at bedtime. Those are literally the moments when I count my blessings. I am blessed to have those times with my children. The toilet can wait...for now. :)

Now, about the dirt. How can a boy, who doesn't hold still for 5 seconds regardless of how entertaining an object you may entice him with, be infatuated for 15 minutes by a rock or better yet many rocks!!! Give him a shovel and a bucket of dirt and you wont see him for an hour. When you do see him, there is dirt in parts we dont talk about in civilized conversations, but you get the point.

To end my post tonight, a glimpse into our home. My children don't seem to think we have a kitchen table and chairs. They prefer eating on the counter like animals. Check that..I don't even let the animals do that. And yes, Luke is sucking on a lollipop, something I didn't let Sydnie have till like a week ago. Ah...the differences between number one and number two. I imagine that by the time you have your 4th child, you let them eat chalk and walk across the street by themselves holding scissors.

Sydnie turns 6

Sydnie started Kindergarten this year and is such a big kid now. She loves recess. What is up with that!! Why cant a kid be like"oh..I love math". Anyway, she is very much a drama mama. Everyday its a new BFF or not. :)

Sydnie also had her 6th birthday on October 7th. Cant believe it. We made oodles of cupcakes for school. Luke enjoyed those as well. We also had a princess pirate party(whew what a mouth full that is). My friend Angela made the coolest cake ever! We took the kids bowling. Silly mom forgot the camera. I was a bit preoccupied by the 8 children I was trying to load up.

And so, there you have it. Lots of frosting, lots of smiles and lots of fun!

Welcome to our Garden

So, Ive done it..I think! Ive entered the blogesphere. Oh brother. Anyway, mostly this is for my family that does not get to see my beatiful little flowers everyday. (and so I can comment on Erins blog) They grow so fast. And so, your welcome to enter our Garden. Sometimes we fertilize so be warned! Sometimes it even rains in our Garden..but it is always beautiful because it was made with love. ~Rhiann
